TRIPLE FULL
yall…I am VERY VERY full on food, faith & family - the perfect trifecta. This month was a big month for me. Personally, I felt a lot of growth in my faith life - I am trusting my own routine and trying to be 100% vulnerable. I ate…a lot of food, but found a little more balance with working out (aka - not trying to push 7x a week). I got an abundance of family time & “framily” time (you know…friends that are practically family).
CHICAGO EATS
Time Out Market - trendy little market with MANY options, we opted for Fare -
Goddess & the Baker - funfetti cookie with a MASSIVE glob of icing…aka my dream
Sparrow Coffee - dreamy avocado toast
Running into interns on the street, grabbing quick coffee dates with my twin & MUCH needed catch-up dates over healthy foods.
PIZZA AROUND THE WORLD
in dallas - taverna - biana: proscuitto, arugula, shaved parm, and mozzarella
Chicago - Coalfire - vodka meatball: mozzarella, vodka tomato sauce, meatball, basil, stracciatella
grocery store - outsiders pizza - Quad City Style: chorizo, streen corn, Mozzarella, chihuahua Cheese
2 parts greens, 1 part sugar
during this season, I’ll try and get as much greens and health as possible. however, when you have a cookie exchange at work…sugar is mandatory. this recipe will for sure be a keeper: snickerdoodle caramelitas…need I say more?
TIME TO PARTAYYYY
some of my friends hosted the cutest girls night xmas party full of laughs & a freaking popcorn machine…I was in heaven.
Work had a christmas party…some opted for some all out outfits, we opted for the classic ugly sweater.
FRAMILY
I know we don’t get to pick our family, but we do get to pick friends…and I’ve been insanely blessed.
my best friend, trisha, had this awesome drawing made for christmas as our own little family.
two of my interns, who I love dearly, recorded a pod episode with me (season two coming in 2020)
2/3 of the browns - the ride or dies since 7th grade.
TEXAS

little mix up to our tradition…tattoos!!!
the triangles are for the 3 girls, colored in with our age order. Mom opted for the dainty “believe”.
literally my happy place - old fashioneds, reading, and this sunset.
the best bedell tradition - dave’s xmas morning egg,ham & cheese croissants
all the snacks - like sweet potato, brussels, cranberry nachos // cheeseburger dip // chicken meatballs
pit stop back into dallas to get some ice cream…because if you can say no to ice cream, I don’t think we can be friends.
if you don’t know..cindi (mom) has the history of some amazing christmas eve dinners, basing them off of the 12 days of christmas.
if you want to drool more…here is last years.
